Roborock T at Kari

Alrighty — here’s the post I tried to do yesterday! I think you’ll agree that it was worth showing the fabulous sculpted cuffs on this t-shirt — they are very well done πŸ™‚ This tee is one of the newest releases from Kari, and I’m crazy about it! If you enjoy tshirts with great graphics, this one’s for you. The shirt is available in a variety of colors and graphics (all variants on a robot/musical device theme). Each pack includes a moth-eaten version, and a new version [which I’m wearing]. At L$90, these are a great addition to your casual wardrobe.

My new hair fair purchase today is the wonderful Alex style from Refuge. The pack comes with hats in two colors, and is an adorable look for your travels across the grid!

Ellery: In Bare Rose & Kin

I had another post all ready to go for you guys, and realized I had forgotten to put on a prim piece of the outfit. I’ll have to re-shoot tomorrow, darn it!

Meanwhile, I want to share with you another one of my models, Ellery. Ellery was born out of my instant infatuation with the new-ish Gala Phoenix skins. The first time I tried on the group gift for the new opening, I created a shape that I hoped would show off the skin, and have become quite attached to her πŸ™‚ So much so, that I’ve already bought her a whole wardrobe of Gala Phoenix skins! There are many, many things to love about these beautiful skins — but while I have it exposed here, take a good look at that belly button. How often have you seen a belly button that is just a black hole in the middle of your stomach?? This belly button is gorgeous!

Ellery is wearing the Grafitti Girl outfit from Bare Rose — and she isn’t even wearing all the pieces, let alone the color variants. I know you’ve heard it before, but Bare Rose is one of the best bargains around — great quality, tons of options, at a price anyone can afford. And super-cute stuff!

To top it all off — the great new Hair Fair release by Kin, which I’m just crazy about.

Graffiti Girl Outfit: Bare Rose Tokyo (includes two other shirt colors, and a chest strap, not shown)
Boots: Oi!
Skin: Curio/Gala Phoenix
Hair: Kin
Eyes: Miriel
Poses: Long Awkward Pose

You might remember some of my previous “freaky friday” posts, where I took on a whole new look — new skin, new shape. I have been having so much fun creating new avatar looks {with my own shapes!} — its very satisfying to put together a complete package. But — these new looks are not really me, Nissa. Like many of you, I’ve become very attached to my basic general look, and that is who I identify myself with. So I thought I would satisfy this creative urge by putting together an array of “models”, if you will, with their own names and looks. I would create alts, but we need a shared inventory! And now you won’t just have to look at me all the time!

Today’s model is Sagan. She is wearing one of the beautiful new-ish Rockberry skins. I love the makeups on Heather’s skins, and with every incarnation she gets better! I’m definitely keeping my eye on her πŸ™‚

Sagan is also sporting one of my new hair purchases at the Hair Fair. I know you’ve probably seen them all before, but I’m excited to wear some of the great new styles I picked up. I haven’t done a whole lot of hair shopping since my very earliest days in SL — when I picked up a ton of styles at the huge ETD sale. But, this was my first Hair Fair ever — and I took full advantage of it. I spent hours at the fair, trying on demos, going back multiple times — first focusing on the charity styles, and then buying some extras with the lindens I had left. And I’m still left with a good list of hair makers to go back to even when the Hair Fair is over. I had a tremendous time — and I’ll be sharing my favorites with you for some time to come! This style is from Refuge, and is a simple, casual style that shows off Sagan’s lovely face πŸ™‚
